Google Japan
Chromebooks Case Study
(Live-Action Video)

Lost and found in translation

Google Cloud Japan asked for help with rewriting a choppy English translation of their script for a customer case study video produced by the Rooftop agency.

This promo is about Chromebooks and how they’ve helped Tokyo-based real estate company Open House reduce overhead costs and improve their day-to-day workflow.

By rephrasing each line, restructuring the narrative, and working with the Chrome Enterprise US team to check for accuracy, I helped transform a scattered translation into a meaningful, cinematic storyline that flowed better in both languages.

As a big fan of Japanese cinema, I’m proud to have worked on this video.
