Project Scope
Summary
Google needed animated explainer videos that could do more than walk through product features.
The work had to make enterprise tools feel understandable, useful, and visually engaging for business users, often by translating technical workflows into stories with stronger pacing, tone, and personality.
I contributed across scriptwriting, concept development, art direction, and performance shaping to help define how these pieces looked, sounded, and communicated product value.
Context
This category sits at the intersection of product marketing, feature education, and motion storytelling.
Some videos focused on helping administrators understand tools and workflows more clearly, while others used stronger concepts, character-driven ideas, or visual framing devices to make technical subjects feel more memorable.
That meant balancing product accuracy with tone, pacing, and production-level decision-making.
The challenge was not just explaining how something worked, but helping shape videos that felt clearer, more watchable, and more creatively resolved from concept through execution.
My Role
I contributed to animated explainer videos across Chrome Enterprise through scriptwriting, concept development, and creative direction.
Depending on the project, that included helping shape story structure, visual tone, character direction, art direction choices, and the broader creative approach used to make technical product material feel more engaging and easier to follow.
I also worked closely with creative partners across production, providing input that influenced how the final pieces looked, moved, and sounded.
That included giving direction around voice performance and inflection so the delivery matched the tone and clarity the storytelling needed.
The goal was to make enterprise product education feel less dry while keeping the final work useful, polished, and easy to understand.
