Chrome Browser
Password Alert Policy
(Animated Video)
A word is worth a thousand gigs of
corporate data
Yet another cartoon demo video for Chrome Enterprise I made with Google Cloud Platform’s Creative Lead Goldy Bardin, advertising agency Brand New School (BNS), and prolific video producer Deanna Hoffinger.
Technically speaking, this is the fifth installment in what I like to call Chrome Browser: The Animated Series. It also might be my most favorite next to the one with all the time travel.
This episode is about Chrome Browser’s Pasword Alert Policy, an awesome feature that keeps data safe by preventing the user from entering reusing passwords for their corporate accounts or falling for a phishing scam.
While I was writing the script for this demo video, I was binge-watching the TV series Person of Interest, which is where the bodyguard idea came from. And, despite how sombre of the narration sounds, the tone was inspired by stand-up comedians Joe Rogan and Tina Fey.
I love how this turned out — a lot! Director Brumby Boylston found just the right balance of humor and seriousness to make such a sensitive security topic into a light, fun, and informative experience.
