Project Scope

Summary

GM needed a series of short-form recruitment videos that could make early-career opportunities in the Philippines feel more personal, energetic, and approachable.

The series included three individual intern spotlight videos and a 30-second hiring promo designed to support broader hiring visibility for multiple roles at GM’s Bonifacio Global City location.

Context

This project sat between recruitment marketing, employer brand, and short-form social video. The footage was informal and mobile-shot, so the challenge was to turn raw iPhone material into polished, candidate-facing content that still felt youthful, authentic, and aligned with GM brand standards.

Because the work was aimed at an early-career audience, the creative approach could be more playful and personality-driven than a standard corporate hiring video.

Each intern spotlight needed its own tone, pacing, and “vibe” while still feeling like part of a cohesive series.

My Role

My role focused on shaping the series from raw footage into polished, youth-oriented recruitment content.

I helped define the creative direction, selected and scored music, edited the videos, shaped narrative flow, created interstitial title cards, color corrected footage, blurred sensitive material, communicated with participating interns, and incorporated feedback from internal leadership, Comms, and Legal reviewers.

Depending on the video, that included:

  • Creative direction

  • Video editing

  • Music selection and scoring

  • Narrative structure

  • Color correction and visual cleanup

  • Title-card development

  • Sensitive-content blurring

  • Intern communication

  • Stakeholder, Comms, and Legal revisions
